CBD comes in many forms and can be confusing when we look at one product vs another. Should you be looking at Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum, or Isolate? Do you need something stronger for pain or sleep? We will try to make these subjects a little easier to understand and break down the benefits of each one. We will also cover any reasons not to use this form of product compared to another.

What is Full Spectrum?
Full Spectrum CBD is when the entire plant is used to make your CBD product. This will include <0.3% THC along with all the other natural cannabinoids like CBG, CBC, THCv, CBDv, and CBN as well as terpenes. This is usually the most popular form of CBD as it will provide all the benefits of the cannabis plant because of the entourage effect. Each cannabinoid works in synergy with the next to provide an overall benefit to the body and our endocannabinoid system.
The main reason to avoid this type of product is if you have a very strict drug policy at your work place. Even though hemp is legal in every state, it is not always allowed to be taken while working with specific organizations. Since there is THC in it, it can show up on a drug test and can cause you to lose your job. Be sure to talk to HR before taking this type of product and get the their approval first.
What is Broad Spectrum?
Broad Spectrum is the next popular type of CBD product after Full Spectrum. This type is very similar to Full Spectrum by containing all the cannabinoids and terpenes. The main difference is this product will remove all the detectible THC. This is recommended for those that may be very sensitive to THC or want as much benefit but are still worried about drug tests.
You need to be 21 years old to buy CBD, but if a younger audience needs to use CBD for medical reasons and has already consulted their primary physician, they would also want to avoid THC. You will be missing out on THC for the entourage effect so there may be a small loss in effectiveness but it can still provide a lot of benefits.

What is Isolate?
CBD Isolate is not as popular but it can still be very necessary when it comes to a strict drug policy at work. CBD Isolate will remove everything except CBD. This means there will be ZERO THC but it will also strip away every other cannabinoid and terpene that would naturally occur in the plant. If you want to know exactly is in your product or you want to have a stress free and worry free experience, you can use a CBD Isolate product.
The main downside is you will not get any of the other cannabinoids unless they are also added back in as an isolate. When it comes to scientific research, often a CBD or THC isolate product will not have as good of an outcome as when it is compared to other products that offer a full range of cannabinoids. You may also need to take a lot more of an isolate product to feel the same benefits.
Why do you offer THC?
We have some products that offer Delta 8 or Delta 9 THC. These products can offer many health benefits and are not meant to be used just to get a high. THC can be used when you need a stronger product for chronic pain or to help when falling asleep. There has also been research that describe THC as helping with nausea, increasing appetite, and a potential anti-tumor agent.
If you do take THC be sure that you start at a small dose to find out your tolerance and to avoid any psychoactive sessions. You can feel THC in your system for 6 to 8 hours, you want to be sure you do not feel negative effects for such a long time. You can buffer this experience by making sure to take a product with CBD or add CBD with a tincture or edible at the same time as taking a THC product.
What about other Cannabinoids?
We will also be offering specific products that contain higher amounts of things like CBN, CBG, CBC, THCv, and CBDv. Each one of these cannabinoids have their own benefits and will provide a different experience and will help with specific conditions you may be needing help with during your health and wellness journey.
We like to use CBN when it comes to products that will aid in creating a healthy sleep experience. We like to add CBG as well as CBC in products we want to help aid in possible pain and inflammation reduction. We will add THCv and CBDv in products we want to help aid in any metabolism issues and that we want to possibly aid in your weight loss journey.
